The JMV is on solid ground, is musically well positioned and financially secure. Jutta hofmann was elected as the new managing director.
The musical director, johannes hammerl, who was re-elected, listed the musical achievements of the youth band and the main orchestra. Our conductor meike reidelbach has a rough share in this. All in all, the association has presented itself convincingly, with both traditional and concert performances to report.
Adequate replacements were found for the retired members of the board, whose work was appreciated. There were eliminated: 1.Treasurer marlene buttner, 2. Treasurer kerstin muller, the assessors rolf schafer, edgar lippert and martin kaiser. They were replaced by: 1. Treasurer martina buttner, 2. Treasurer vroni hirsch, three young members: pia laak, dunja muller and jule simon.
Long-serving board members were elected to the council of elders: winfried schmitt, daniela schaupp.
The ten-member board consists of seven women and three men.
With this, the youth music association is well positioned again and can meet its future tasks.
Before the triumvirate of the lufos opened the butten evenings, they first had to "drain the water". With mutual help the problem was solved quickly.
As every year, the big and small dance girls of the lufos, the ingwaonen, as the members of the lufos are called, opened with an impressive dance.
The trucker and country festival has a special charm, and at its 37th edition, it was no exception. The run has lost none of its tensile strength. "Toni", as anton strohofer is known in the trucking scene, had called and once again tens of thousands of visitors and around 700 truckers with their trucks answered his call. Over the course of four days, the truckers celebrated a huge party and relaxed away from the stress on the highways.
"We have been here for 21 years, we can't imagine our calendar without geiselwind," said thorsten ditterich, who together with his brother ralf ditterich is head of a transport service company.
